Dr. Francis Lung

Dr. Francis Lung's Biography
Dr. Lung is currently the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of LX1 Technology
Limited, the Managing Director of the China Urban Infrastructure Investment Fund,
the Deputy Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Hydrotech International, the Non
Executive Chairman of Arafura Pearls and the no-executive director of Intra Energy
Corporation. LX1 Technology is a company specializes in developing data and
knowledge management solutions and is currently providing transportation related
solutions to MTR in Hong Kong. China Urban Infrastructure Investment Fund is an
RMB 10 billion China based private equity fund for infrastructure project
investments. Hydrotech International, Arafura Pearls and Intra Energy are listed in
the Australian Stock Exchange specialized in water-proofing technologies, pearl
farming and mining business respectively.
Dr. Lung has over 20 years of experience in the infrastructure and utility industries.
He had held various senior roles in PowerGen (HK), Duke Energy and Royal Dutch
Shell. He had led multi-billion LNG projects from liquefaction, transportation and
regasification perspectives across Europe, Asia and America. Further, he was
formerly an Executive Director at MTR Corporation responsible for international
business. He led the successful development of metro projects in Beijing,
Shenzhen, Melbourne, London Overground and Stockholm and built up a strong
railway consultancy practice for MTR spanning China, Australia, Europe and South
America during his tenure.
Dr. Lung also devotes time in helping the community. He spends a significant
amount of his time in social services and advising the engineering faculty of the
Hong Kong University.
