opportunities in the greater China region through speakers sharing their own experiences.
Through consultancies with World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and at EMBARQ, The World
Resources Institute Center for Sustainable Transportation, and with University of California
Transportation Center, she has worked on the feasibility of bus rapid transit in Shanghai,
pedestrian behavior studies in Fushun, and transit-oriented development in Jinan. She also
contributed to several white paper proposals drafted by the Sustainable Transportation Task
Force of the China Council for International Cooperation and Development. She has held prior
positions with Arup and California Partnership for Advanced Transit and Highways (PATH).
Currently, Wendy works at Cambridge Systematics focusing in the areas of transportation
economics, climate change and energy, transportation planning and analysis, non-motorized
travel, and transit.
Wendy holds dual Master degrees in Transportation Engineering and City Planning from
University of California, Berkeley, and has a B.S. Economics from the University of
Pennsylvania, Wharton School. She is originally from Taiwan.
