Members of the delegation shared their observations of the various sites during their visit. All present then participated in engaging and fruitful discussions of the differences and similarities in transportation issues and challenges in their respective fields of practice. A special segment of the meeting was dedicated to the official commissioning of James Chiao and Jacques Besner as Technical Specialists and members of the Shanghai Municipal Urban-Rural Development and Transportation Commission. With so much interest in common and experience to share, ICTPA members saw the delegation off long past the scheduled adjournment of the meeting, and looked forward to future opportunities for further exchanges and collaboration. A Board of Directors’ meeting is also scheduled for detailing planning of our Northeast Chapter Annual Meeting to be held on September 17th. |
