Abstract and Paper Submission and Preliminary Agenda

Submission Method

Instructions on abstracts and papers submission can be found in the conference website ( An abstract/paper shall be submitted to using a MS WORD file format. Paper format can be found in the conference website ( An abstract shall not exceed 400 words. The length of full paper shall not exceed 5,000 words (excluding tables and figures). Please strictly follow the submission template in

Authors shall indicate that abstracts/papers are submitted for (1) presentation only, (2) publication only, or (3) presentation and publication. In addition, authors need to indicate if abstracts/papers are submitted for the consideration of publication in conference proceedings and, if accepted in the Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering (JTTE) (English Edition). Papers can be written either in English or in Chinese. However, a paper submitted for the publication in JTTE must be written in English.

Appropriate Copyright Transfer Agreement and duly signed by authorized author, will possibly be needed at the final paper submission stage for accepted JTTE papers. The corresponding authors will be contacted by the Journal and the publisher directly then.

Special Publication

Authors have the option to specify whether their manuscripts are for peer-reviewed or non-peer-reviewed track. The peer-reviewed papers should be written in English and meet the standards for the publication in Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering (JTTE) (English Edition). The referred papers will be published in special and/or regular issue(s) of JTTE (English Edition), Elsevier Publishing, managed by Chang’an University, ISSN: 2095-7564. JTTE is trying to submit the abstracts to databases such as the Engineering Index (EI). All papers to JTTE should be peer-reviewed. All accepted conference papers, including the non-peer-reviewed papers, will be published in the regular ICTPA conference proceedings in website.
